What is Aether by CentroSCS?

Aether is live visual software from CentroSCS. VJs, DJs with projections and events can run a real-time show with layers, cues, crossfader, 19 GPU generators, 74 effects, NDI/Syphon, MIDI and projector output.

Does Aether work offline?

Yes. Aether is a native macOS app designed to run offline, with no browser and no required connection during use.

How do I download the Aether demo?

Install on Mac

Open the .dmg file and drag Aether into the Applications folder.
Launch Aether from Applications, not from the DMG disk.
If macOS blocks it: Control-click Aether → Open → Open.

If you see “the app is damaged” or it won’t open

That’s Gatekeeper on an app that is not notarized yet. After copying Aether to Applications, open Terminal and run:

xattr -cr /Applications/Aether.app

Install on Windows

Download the .exe installer (Windows 10/11, 64-bit) and run it.
If SmartScreen warns you, choose More info → Run anyway (build not Authenticode-signed yet).
After purchase, paste the key in Aether → License. Up to 3 computers, Mac and Windows together.
